Did you dye eggs when you lived in Germany? The egg carton picture brings back so many memories for me, from when we were dying lots and lots of eggs for/with the extended family.

Ah! I can see them now. I like Northern magnolias but maintain they are inferior to the Southern variety, which has enormous flowers which also smell heavenly!
