Niobe had a bookshelf meme to which I add this corner of my kitchen that serves as a cookbook shelf. Despite their titles, most of the books are in German. The attentive reader might also notice that I enjoyed a certain series.
Niobe hatte ein Bücherregal-meme, zu dem ich meine Küchenecke mit Kochbüchern hinzufüge. Trotz der Titel sind die meisten Bücher auf deutsch. Der aufmerksame Leser wird weiterhin bemerken, dass mir eine bestimmte Serie gut gefallen hat.

I might snap a shot of my cookbook shelf too when I get around to the meme. I keep putting it off because the effort of walking around the house with the camera seems like too much at the moment.
Niobe: Many titles and keywords in Germany are English these days, especially if what they’re trying to sell is directed at young people. It’s just cooler, I suppose. Most Germans are not as proud of their language as other European neighbors — no surprise after the wars, but it still is a little sad.
