It appears to be difficult to write about responsibility, maybe because, as Jokerine shows us, it is a complex topic. She shares her mind map with us, which shows lots of interconnected aspects of what responsibility means for her, and hopes to turn some of this “into real posts” in the future.

Veo Claramente wrote how it is sometimes mainly her feeling of responsibility that keeps her going, when other sources of motivation are hard to find. I wrote about choices for the future, and responsibilities I feel with respect to them.

Rosa of Fairer Science explains that an important aspect of their goal, increasing women’s and minorities’ representation in the sciences, is that work by a diverse field of scientists is more likely to be good and applicable for all in a diverse world.

I wrote about behavior of some scientists, and how it can fit with the responsibility I expected scientists to have. I do hope that more diversity would also bring more responsibility here.
